J. Patrick Carey

Pat was born and raised on the Peninsula, graduated from Peninsula High School in 1999, and returned after college to raise his four children here. He is a former Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney and has run his own law practice in Torrance since 2014. He is President of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Pony League and previously served as President of Lunada Bay Little League. His wife, Vanessa, is active with the Lunada Bay PTA and serves on the board of the Lunada Bay Homeowners Association.

Pat will help the Board navigate member matters and legal affairs, and will bring added oversight to the Association’s outside legal counsel and legal spending.
