Vivek Verma

Vivek has called the Palos Verdes Peninsula home for the past 7 years, where he and his wife are raising their two daughters and are proud to be part of the Lunada Bay neighborhood. The family has come to deeply appreciate the Peninsula’s natural beauty, character, and strong sense of community, which make it such a special place to live.

A technology leader with nearly two decades of experience, Vivek is the Global Head of Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Operations, and Security at TP-Link Systems, where he leads globally distributed teams. He has previously held engineering leadership roles at companies including Amazon, Alexa, and Fox Sports. He holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a graduate certificate in advanced computer security from Stanford University. He also teaches graduate business analytics as an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University. He founded Cloud Strategy, Inc., a company focused on cybersecurity and privacy products.

Vivek has volunteered with organizations including the Boy Scouts and has mentored many early-career engineers. He brings a disciplined, detail-oriented approach shaped by years of keeping critical systems reliable, secure, and well governed. He plans to focus on modernizing PVHA’s digital systems, including the PVHA website, so residents can more easily find information and engage with the Association.
